The role involves data collection and analysis, techno-commercial assessment of clean and emerging technologies, evaluation of manufacturing processes for energy and GHG reduction opportunities, and review of policy frameworks, compliance standards, and gaps. The Intern will also contribute to sector-level energy and emission benchmarking, analysis of India’s industrial energy/emission profile, and identification of short-, mid-, and long-term decarbonisation strategies aligned with national commitments. The role may include field surveys, stakeholder interactions, and coordination with project teams to support timely deliverables.
